Common questions about the Votifier Tester tool
Votifier is a Minecraft plugin that allows server list websites to send voting notifications to your server. When players vote for your server, Votifier receives the notification and triggers rewards or messages.
Your Votifier public key is located at plugins/Votifier/rsa/public.key on your server. Open this file with a text editor and copy the entire contents including the BEGIN and END lines.
Votifier typically uses port 8192 by default. You can check or change this in the Votifier config file at plugins/Votifier/config.yml. Make sure this port is open on your firewall.
Check your server console for a Votifier message about receiving a vote. If you have a vote listener plugin installed, you should see the reward being given to the test username. The tool will also show connection status.
Yes! This tool is completely free with no signup required. Test your Votifier configuration as many times as you need without any restrictions.
Common issues include: incorrect port, firewall blocking the port, wrong public key, or Votifier not running. Verify your server IP, ensure port 8192 is open, and check that the Votifier plugin is enabled.
Yes! This tool supports both classic Votifier and NuVotifier. NuVotifier is backward compatible with the classic Votifier protocol, so this tester works with both versions.
No! Your public key and server information are never stored. All testing happens in real-time and your data is not saved to any database or log files. Your information is completely private.
