Common questions about the Whitelist Creator tool
A whitelist is a list of players allowed to join your server. When enabled, only players on the whitelist can connect, making your server private and secure from unwanted guests.
Upload the whitelist.json file to your server's root directory (the same folder as server.properties). Then restart your server or use the command /whitelist reload to apply changes.
Set "white-list=true" in your server.properties file and restart the server. Or use the command /whitelist on while the server is running. Only whitelisted players will be able to join.
UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) is a unique code assigned to each Minecraft account. Our tool automatically fetches UUIDs from Mojang's API, ensuring the whitelist works even if players change their username.

Yes! You can use in-game commands like /whitelist add [username] or regenerate a new whitelist.json file with additional players using this tool and re-upload it to your server.
If a username doesn't exist or hasn't been used in Minecraft, our tool will notify you that the UUID couldn't be found. Double-check the spelling and make sure it's a valid Java Edition username.
This tool is designed for Java Edition servers. Bedrock Edition uses a different whitelist format (whitelist.json with Xbox Live IDs). Use in-game commands for Bedrock whitelisting.
